The NDSD Conference hosted at Gallagher Estate in Midrand on 15-17 Oct 2008 attracted over 2500 visitors. IPD thanks the more than 1000 visitors to our exhibition stand during the three days, especially those past learners and avid supporters of the IPD programmes. A questionnaire survey conducted with 112 visitors to our exhibition stand showed that 60% of the respondents rated IPD service as either good or excellent, 88% rated the level of the training markets' awareness of IPD above average, 96% indicated they wanted to participate on Continuous Professional Development programmes, and 86% wanted training sales people to call on them to discuss their specific training needs. IPD herewith thanks all participants to the survey, and congratulates the three winners of the lucky draw:
(a) Moses Mngoma (DSD Consulting), (b) Sheridan Rupert (Nampak), and (c) Loiusa Moriba (University of Venda) who must please claim their copy of the Occupationally-directed ETD Practices Book, 2007: Meyer, Orpen, from IPD by latest 28 November 2008.
